BIOGRAPHY
Unspoken Rules and Distance

Aka, "Sometimes you don't shower between lovers."

This is my first solo album.

These all happen to be embarrassing break-up songs, stuff I worked on outside of my bands or in-between projects.

Early versions of some have been performed at the Hava Java open mic I used to host and during my Best Kept Secret songwriters series. However, those songs all appear here in vastly different, final arrangements.

Three of the songs were written entirely in February.

Three of the songs were co-written with good friends: One from my old folk thing Snails to the Rescue, one from my agro-alt-rock thing Elimination Dance and another is a demo from my work-in-progress-jazz-rock thing, Mount Olympus.

A few of these tunes, friends have been bugging me to lay down since 2003.

So, for better or worse, here they are.
